Calgary Wranglers Taking on the Abbotsford Canucks – Round 2 Preview

Tonight the Calgary Wranglers and Abbotsford Canucks kick off their best-of-five series! The Canucks, who finished the regular season with a record of 40-25-3, defeated the Bakersfield Condors in two straight games in the first round of the playoffs. The Wranglers, who have been waiting for the first round to complete, finished with a record of 51-17-3.

Players to Watch

For the Canucks, keep an eye on forward Nils Hoglander, who had an impressive regular season with 14 goals and 18 assists in 45 games but has 4 points in 2 Playoff games. Defenseman Jack Rathbone is another player to watch, as he recorded two goals in the first-round series against the Condors.

On the other side, the Wranglers will look to forward Matthew Phillips, who had thirty-six goals and forty assists in the regular season. Defenseman Nick DeSimone, who had eight goals and an incredible thirty-eight assists, will also be a key player for the Wranglers.
