The 2023-24 hockey season is in full swing, and the first month of the season for the NHL and AHL has ended, and we’ve reached November. The Detroit Red Wings are currently 6-3-1 and in second place in the Atlantic Division. They still have a lot of hockey to play this season, with 72 games still left on the schedule, which also includes a trip to Sweden in the middle of this month. The Red Wings affiliates are off to a combined 3-3-2-0. Their AHL affiliate, the Grand Rapids Griffins, is currently 2-3-1-0, while their ECHL affiliate, the Toledo Walleye, are 1-0-1-0. Today, we recap the first month for the Red Wings top prospects and how they are doing. The top five prospects, according to NHL.com, are Simon Edvinsson, Marco Kasper, Nate Danielson, Axel Sandin-Pellikka, and Carter Mazur; some of those prospects are playing in other leagues. A few other names we will check in on are William Wallinder, Sebastian Cossa, Trey Augustine, Elmer Soderblom, Amadeus Lombardi, Red Savage, and Alexandre Doucet.
