ECHL: Adirondack Thunder Announce Preseason Games

The Adirondack Thunder and Reading Reading will continue a tradition that has gone on since 2017 (Excluding the 2020 COVID season) of the home and home preseason games between the two clubs. Unlike the NHL, not all teams will play preseason games, but for those who do, it’s a great chance for teams to take a look at guys they signed to either ATOs or PTOs before the regular season begins. Adirondack has not faired well against Reading in the preseason, as they have only three wins against them in preseason play since 2017, and two of those wins came last season; the other one was a 3-2 OT victory on October 4th, they have been outscored 39-23 over that time. Adirondack will travel to Reading on October 12th, and the following day the two teams will face off in Glens Falls; both games begin at 7:00 pm. The Thunder will open regular season play on October 21st in Worcester; Reading begins their season on the road in Newfoundland on October 20th.
