ECHL: Adirondack Thunder Make Trade With Atlanta Gladiators

Thunder trade with Gladiators

The Adirondack Thunder have made a trade with the Atlanta as they have acquired Matt Ustaski from the Gladiators in exchange for future considerations. Ustaski began his season in the SPHL with the Quad City Storm, putting up 21 goals and 19 assists for 40 points in 26 games. The 29-year-old forward has played in eight games in the ECHL this season, playing four games with the Norfolk Admirals and Atlanta Gladiators.

It’s been a busy day for the Thunder as Colin Felix was also called up to Utica. Darion Skeoch and Vinnie Purpura, who both missed the two games in Reading, did make the trip with the team down to Florida. Purpura has been the Thunder’s best goalie this season putting up a 12-1-3-1 record with a 2.42 GAA and .919 SV%. Skeoch has five assists in 31 games.
