ECHL: Adirondack Thunder Transactions | 11/18/2024

The Adirondack Thunder made a couple of moves on Monday before heading South. Two players are headed back to the Utica Comets, and one other player will return to Adirondack to join the team on their southern road trip.

Who’s Going Up?

Jace Isley and Josh Filmon are headed to Utica to join the Comets. Isley has had a solid start in Adirondack, putting up a goal and three assists for four points in nine games while dropping the gloves once already this season. This is a big loss for Adirondack as Isley has been a solid piece in the Thunder lineup and plays a power-forward role as a guy who can not only throw the body around but also find the scoresheet. Filmon, who joined the Thunder for the weekend series, would get his first pro point on Sunday Afternoon with an assist. Prior to being sent down to the Thunder, he had played in eight games with Utica but couldn’t find the scoresheet. The 20-year-old winger signed his three-year entry-level deal with the New Jersey Devils in March.

Who’s Coming Down?

Dylan Wendt has two assists in five games this season with the Utica Comets and will join the Thunder for the second time this season after playing with the team in their home opener on October 26th vs Trois-Rivieres Lions. This is huge for the Thunder after they lost Isley and Filmon to Utica. I would expect Wendt to be in the Thunder lineup on Wednesday Night vs Jacksonville Icemen.
