ECHL: Adirondack Thunder Transactions | 11/30/2024

Adirondack Thunder Transactions Graphic

The Adirondack Thunder and Pete MacArthur continue to play around with the roster. This morning, they added two more signings: Stephen Calisti and Grant Loven. Loven will be in the lineup tonight. However, Calisti will be placed on reserve after signing his deal with Adirondack. Tyson Kirkby, who spent was in the lineup last night, was placed on waivers today, but that’s just the start of what Adirondack had planned for the day. Also, as expected, Shaw Boomhower will be placed on the 14-day IR with an undisclosed injury.

Who’s In

Keanan Stewart and Zach Bannister will draw back into the lineup tonight after being healthy scratches last night. Stewart would pick up his first point as a member of the Thunder last Sunday with an assist in Adirondack’s 5-1 win over the South Carolina Stingrays. Bannister re-joins the Thunder lineup as he’s played in 13 games this season and has a goal and an assist.

Ryan Smith Called Up

After breaking the Adirondack Thunder franchise record for shots on goal last night, Smith has been recalled to the Springfield Thunderbirds. Smith played in three games with Springfield last season while picking up his first career AHL goal. This is a huge loss for the Thunder as Smith has been a massive part of the team all season, and with all the injuries with Adirondack right now, this is just another blow that the Thunder got handed. The Roanoke, Virginia native has four goals and five assists for nine points in 15 games this season.
