December

Experience the festive spirit at Gas South Arena on December 8th as fans come together to cheer on the Atlanta Gladiators against the Greenville Swamp Rabbits, with Santa Claus leading the sing-along. Fans, get ready for an exciting hockey game filled with holiday joy and spirited competition.

On December 13th, the Ugly Sweater & Teddy Bear Toss event will take place at Gas South Arena. Fans are encouraged to bring new or gently used stuffed animals to toss onto the ice when the first goal is scored. This tradition continues to symbolize how the hockey community gives back and makes a positive impact on their community. In the 2023-24 season, Inside the Rink crowned their inaugural Champion of the Teddy Bear Toss Competition with the Jacksonville Icemen taking home that honor with 14,762 cuddly stuffed animals donated to charity. Yet, the Gladiators were among the top three contenders, as fans threw in 13,624 stuffed animals, with the second-highest reported attendance among all teams last year. The question remains: Can the Gladiators surpass their franchise record (2022-23 Season) of 15,067 plushies tossed this coming season?

Finally, on December 28th, Stick it to Cancer Night will honor those affected by cancer. The Gladiators will pay tribute to individuals who have fought or are currently battling cancer, showing support to them and their loved ones while raising awareness for this important cause.

January

Wizard Night and Star Wars Night are just a few of the exciting theme nights coming up at the Gladiators arena this month. Don’t miss out on the magical experience of Wizard Night, where some surprises await for those attending this first ever event for Atlanta. And mark your calendar for January 18th, when the popular Star Wars Night returns for a thrilling evening as the Gladiators face off against their rivals, the Greenville Swamp Rabbits. During the 2023-24 season, the Gladiators wore Darth Vader themed jerseys, and the season before that they featured the Imperial logo. Will the Gladiators continue embracing their dark side, or will the Rebels finally seize control?
