ECHL: Atlanta Gladiators’ Roster Changes | 03/19/2024

Earlier today, the Atlanta Gladiators finalized the acquisition of forward Parker AuCoin from the Idaho Steelheads in exchange for future considerations. AuCoin, who recently showcased his prowess with Idaho, tallied three goals and seven assists, resulting in a total of 10 points over 11 games while with the Steelheads.

AuCoin, originally from Sturgeon County, AB, participated in the WHL for five seasons spanning from 2015 to 2019, exclusively representing the Tri-City Americans. Throughout this tenure, he demonstrated exceptional skill, accumulating a notable total of 180 points (88 goals and 92 assists) across 262 games. Particularly remarkable was his appointment as Alternate Captain for the Americans during the 2018-19 season. His performance that season, where he equaled the league’s fifth-highest goal tally with 42 goals, earned him a spot on the WHL (West) Second All-Star Team. Following the conclusion of his time in the WHL, Aucoin transitioned to Orlando, where he participated in two ECHL games with the Solar Bears.

Before joining the Idaho Steelheads, AuCoin had recently completed a successful season at Carleton University (USports), where he recorded 20 points (11g, 9a) in 28 games. In the previous season, he stood out in USports by leading with 24 goals in 24 games, resulting in a well-deserved selection for the USports (OUA) First All-Star Team. From 2019 to 2024, during his tenure with the Ravens, AuCoin amassed a total of 69 points (44g, 25a) over 84 games.

The Atlanta Gladiators face off against the Trois-Rivières Lions on Friday, March 22nd starting at 7:30 pm.
