ECHL: Ethan Haider Named Goaltender of the Week (Nov 18th-24th)

Ethan Haider, the 23-year-old rookie goaltender for the Atlanta Gladiators, has been named the Warrior Hockey ECHL Goaltender of the Week for November 18-24, Haider’s performance has been nothing short of stellar. During this period, he posted a 2-0-0 record with one shutout, a 0.99 goals-against average, and a .968 save percentage. His standout performances included a 33-save shutout against Orlando and a 28-save effort in an overtime victory over Jacksonville.

Standing at 6’4″ and weighing 190 lbs, Ethan Haider has the physical presence that makes him a formidable opponent in the net. Before turning pro, Haider had a notable collegiate career, playing 101 games at the University of Connecticut and Clarkson University. He compiled an overall record of 43-42-14 with eight shutouts, a 2.47 goals-against average, and a .909 save percentage. His consistent performance in college hockey laid a strong foundation for his professional career.

Drafted by the Nashville Predators in the 5th round of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft, Haider has shown great promise and potential. Currently under contract with the Milwaukee Admirals of the AHL, he has been a key player for the Gladiators this season.
