Josh Gales/Fort Wayne Komets

The Fort Wayne Komets are losing their captain as Morgan Adams-Moisan is heading overseas to play with the Bietighiem Steelers in the DEL2 in Germany. Over the course of his six years pro, the Quebec Native has played in both the ECHL and AHL. In the AHL, he has two goals and two assists in 64 career games playing with the Laval Rocket, San Diego Gulls, and Rockford Ice Hogs. The Quebec native has better numbers in the ECHL, as he has 44 goals and 29 assists for 73 points in 161 games between the Maine Mariners and the Komets.

Adams-Moisan had spent the previous two years playing in the AHL, playing in a total of 48 games with the Gulls during the 2021-22 season and the Ice Hogs last year. The 27-year-old winger returned to Komets and was named captain, which is where he last played in the 2020-21 season and the Komets would win the Kelly Cup in 2021. Injuries have limited Adams-Moison to only 27 games with the Komets this season, where he had 12 goals and five assists, and the Fort Wayne captain was tossed at the 16:12 mark when he was given majors for boarding and fighting along with a game misconduct for boarding.
