Players To Keep An Eye On

Brett Kemp:

Kemp, after spending some time in the AHL on a PTO, has since been released to play in Greenville once more. He played ten games for the Rabbits’ during this season, tallying up four goals and ten assists. He is, without a doubt, a very talented player, and with him in the lineup, the Rabbits’ will benefit offensively going forward. Also, with Ryan Francis getting called up by AHL Ontario, Kemp will resume his role effectively.

Jacob Modry:

Jacob Modry, previously played twenty games for the Newfoundland Growlers before being traded to Greenville, has tallied up two goals and two assists. He is 6’6, 216 pounds, and is a really solid defenseman with only ten penalty minutes served so far. He is expected to make his debut in a Swamp Rabbits jersey tonight against the Stingrays.

What To Look Out For

The Rabbits’ have a complete roster now with the return of Brett Kemp and Nikita Pavlychev, and thus, their power play units will only improve and rise. Jake Smith, manning the left-wing on the PP, only amplifies the Rabbits’ power play, as his insane one-timing abilities are extremely viable. With the newly upped offensive roster, so comes their defensive roster. With the addition of Jacob Modry, expect to see a new and heavy look for the Swamp Rabbits defense, along with their PK units, as well.
