The Jacksonville Icemen have made a late-season trade with the Cincinnati Cyclones. The Icemen will acquire defenseman Reece Harsch in exchange for contract rights to forward Ben Hawercheck.
Harsch, 25, spent the early start of the season playing overseas in the EIHL. Harsh played for the Fife Flyers, located in Scotland. He spent the 22-23 season, as well as part of the 23-24 season as a Flyer. Harsch accounted for 60 games played. He scored four goals and had 11 assists. Harsch played in 25 games for the Cincinnati Cyclones where he scored two goals and had three assists. Prior to his time with the EIHL, Harsh played in the 21-22 season with the Toledo Walleye. Where he played 7 games, stating three assists.

The trade deadline for overseas players ends February 15th, 2024. The Icemen will host the Florida Everblades on February 16th at 7 pm and will host the Savannah Ghost Pirates on Sunday, February 18th at 3 pm. Both games will be military appreciation.
