The Kalamazoo Wings have signed Jordan Seyfert to a Standard Player contract and goaltender Hayden Stewart to a Professional Tryout contract. Jordan Seyfert, 24, played 100 games for Merrimack College, scoring 12 goals, 25 assists, and 22 penalty minutes for the NCAA club. At five feet, ten inches, and 185 pounds, this Annville, PA native spent his time collegiately centering lines for the Warriors but is versatile in his ability to play up and down the lineup. Seyfert won two USHL titles, first with the Chicago Steel in the 16-17 season, where he played ten games with one goal and four penalty minutes. His second was with the Fargo Force, where he earned three assists in 12 games with 18 penalty minutes.

Hayden Stewart, 28, stands tall at six feet three inches and weighs 205 pounds. Hailing from Rockford, IL, he has spent most of his career in the SPHL with some appearances in the ECHL for the Cincinnati Cyclones, Orlando Solar Bears, Fort Wayne Komets, and the Rapid City Rush. Last season with the Birmingham Bulls of the SPHL, he suited up for 22 games with a 12-8-1 record, putting up a 2.71 GAA and .905 SV% and three shutouts. In the President’s Cup playoffs, he played four games in net for the Bulls, going 2-1-1 with a 2.01 GAA and a .932 SV%. He currently is the only goaltender to score a goal in the SPHL, netting an empty netter in a 3-0 shutout over the Evansville Thunderbolts.

With the Kalamazoo Wings home opener around the corner on October 21, we get ready for training camp and pre-season at Wings Event Center with quite a great lineup of veterans and promising rookies.
