The Kalamazoo Wings made two moves on Tuesday as they placed forward Mason Emoff on waivers and signed Ryan Naumovski to a contract for the remainder of the 2023-24 season. Emoff has spent most of the season in the SPHL with the Quad City Storm, playing in 27 games with the Storm to begin the season, where he put up three goals and three assists for six points before heading up to the ECHL as he signed with the K-Wings. In eight games in the ECHL with Kalamazoo, the 26-year-old forward had one assist. The former captain of the Mannhathanville Valiants will now head back to Quad City; prior to joining the Storm, he spent four years with the Valiants, putting up 18 goals and 30 assists for 48 points in 69 games. Enhoff’s best seasons came during the 2016-17 season when he was in the EHLP, which is now the EHL, where he put up 37 goals and 64 assists for 101 points in 41 games, leading the league in all offensive categories as he would go on to win the league’s MVP award, he would also spend the 2018-19 season with the Lumberjacks putting up 22 goals and 32 assists for 54 points in 45 games.

Kalamazoo would go out and sign another forward to replace Emoff as they signed Ryan Naumovski out of Augustana University, where he spent his final year of eligibility after spending four seasons at Niagara University. The 24-year-old forward is also a Hobey Baker Award Finalist, which goes to the best player in College hockey, as he put up eight goals and 17 assists for 25 points in 34 games this season with the Vikings and led the team in scoring. Naumovski put up 23 goals and 58 assists in 81 games with the Purple Eagles.
