Today, the Norfolk Admirals have made two notable signings in preparation for the upcoming 2023-24 season. Defenseman Justin Allen and forward Gueorgui Feduolov have both inked Standard Player Contracts, adding strength and depth to the team.

Defenseman Justin Allen, 26, hailing from New York, joined the Admirals on March 22 following his successful collegiate career at Utica College (NCAA-DIII). Over ten games with Norfolk, Allen showcased his playmaking abilities with seven assists, all achieved within a remarkable four-game span from March 30 to April 12. Admirals GM and Head Coach Jeff Carr sees Allen as a pivotal figure, highlighting his potential offensive impact.

In parallel, 24-year-old forward Gueorgui Feduolov signed his first professional contract with the Admirals on March 8. Two days later, he registered his first point, an assist, in a thrilling 6-4 triumph over the Maine Mariners. Feduolov’s adaptability and versatility have been acknowledged by Carr, making him an asset across different positions in the lineup. His college career at Mercyhurst University saw consistent contributions, peaking with 16 points in the 2021-22 season.

These strategic signings reaffirm the Admirals’ commitment to a competitive 2023-24 season. With Allen’s offensive flair and Feduolov’s dynamic versatility, Admirals fans can anticipate an exciting display of hockey in the coming season.
