ECHL: Norfolk Admirals Transactions | 03/22/2024

The Norfolk Admirals have bolstered their blueline by signing defencemen Dakota Krebs and Nathan Kelly to Amateur tryout agreements ahead of a big weekend series against the North Division Leading Adirondack Thunder, who are only six points ahead of the Admirals. Krebs, the younger brother of Buffalo Sabres defenceman Peyton Krebs, just finished four years at the University of Calgary where he put up five goals and 21 assists for 27 points in 71 games, Krebs had spent the previous five seasons in the WHL including his last two seasons with the Calgary Hitmen prior to joining the Dinos. In 308 games in the WHL he put up 13 goals and 49 assists for 26 points. Nathan Kelly joins the Admirals after finishing up Union College where he’s played the last three seasons. In 89 games with the Garnet Chargers he put up a goal and three assists for four points.

Simon Kubieck heads back to Admirals as well after spending the last three weeks with the Manitoba Moose with his only game coming on March 3rd where he picked up an assist. He has four goals and 12 assists for 16 points in 52 games this season with Norfolk.
