ECHL: Reading Royals Forward Released

Reading Royals Forward Nicolas Ouellet has been, according to Elite Prospects, released by the team. One can presume that he is headed overseas.

This was Ouellet’s rookie season after being acquired by Reading from Norfolk Admirals.

In his time with Reading, Ouellet played in 24 games and notched one goal with five assists. Ouellet missed games due to injury but was an asset on the ice when in games.

Ouellet’s first professional career goal came during the team’s trip out west to reel in the Idaho Steelheads.
