South Carolina has claimed 27-year-old left-handed Forward Brad Morrison from Kalamazoo. Morrison was put on waivers by Kalamazoo Wings on April 9th; he had been with the Wings since the 22-23 season when he was signed from Florida Everblades during the 22-23 season. Morrison joined his first AHL team, the Ontario Reign, at 19. Since then, he has played in the ECHL with the Fort Wayne Komets, Indy Fuel, Reading Royals, Florida Everblades, and AHL with the Reign, Rockford IceHogs, and Lehigh Valley Phantoms. He also played in the ICEHL (Italian league) for seven games and the Slovakia Hockey League for five games. He has 57 AHL and 169 ECHL with 12 playoff games, 63 goals and 80 assists. Morrison is a well-rounded veteran who will add tremendous depth to the forward lines.
