ECHL Transactions: Savannah Ghost Pirates | 03/14/2024

On Pie Day, The Savannah Ghost Pirates signed Griffin Loughran and added him to the Injured Reserve. Griffin, a 25-year-old right-handed forward from Orchard Park, New York, has played 131 NCAA collegiate-level games with 44 goals, 55 assists, and a career total of 99 points.

Griffin played with Northern Michigan University, Michigan State University, and Canisius College. His sophomore year saw impressive goal-scoring. He gathered 23 that season, tying him for second in the Nation for goals, and landed him on the All-Star Second team for the Western Collegiate Hockey Association that year. Griffin will be a great asset in Savannah because of his ability to get in the crease and put the puck in the net.

The Savannah Ghost Pirates are currently 13th in the Eastern Conference with 58-23-30-4-1. They are on their second meeting of the Atlanta Gladiators this week.
