ECHL Transactions: Worcester Railers Sign Mason Klee

With the ECHL trade deadline in the rearview mirror and with the Kelly Cup Playoffs inching closer and closer, the Worcester Railers have signed another defensive piece in Mason Klee to help the team sustain a late-season playoff push.

The defenseman hails from Ohio State University for the final season of his collegiate career while spending the previous four with the RPI Engineers. During his collegiate career, he had 21 total career points with five goals and 16 assists (5-16-21) in 126 games played.

Before Klee started his collegiate career, he spent a couple of seasons in the United States Hockey League. During this time, he played for the Lincoln Stars and the Sioux Falls Stampede. Klee does have some accolades to his name with one being the Clark Cup during the 2018-19 season as a member of the Sioux Falls Stampede. While in the USHL, Mason Klee played 118 total games, scoring 17 points with four goals and 13 assists. (4-13-17)
