ECHL: Worcester Railers Announce 2024-25 Protected List

With the 2024-25 offseason in full swing, The Worcester Railers announced their protected list for the 2024-25 season. The team protected 11 forwards, including Blade Jenkins, Anthony Callin, Zach White, and Anthony Repaci. The team also protected ten defensemen, and captain Connor Welsh is the biggest from that pool. Along with that, they protected goaltender John Muse.

The player to keep an eye on the most would be captain Anthony Repaci, who missed an important chunk of the 2023-24 season due to injury and looks to impact the Worcester Railers in a big way come the 2024-25 season. The Canada native has hockey in his blood, as the team’s success dropped without him in the lineup. In his shortened season he only played in 42 games and was able to play in the heartbreaking final series of the season. In that time, he scored 15 goals and dished out 16 assists for a total of 31 points, already showcasing the impact he has on the team.

John Muse as the journeyman was solid for the team all year. Muse played 30 games in nert for the Worcester Railers where he was a solid brick wall. He had a GAA of 2.77 and a shot save percentage of .911. He will be welcomed back with open arms. The playoffs are in sight for the Railers and they just need to put the pieces together.
