ECHL: Worcester Railers Transactions | 04/03/2024

With ECHL teams finalizing their Kelly Cup Playoff Rosters, that is no different for the Worcester Railers as they loaned defensemen Mason Klee over to San Jose Barracuda of the American Hockey League. Mason Klee will be a welcomed addition to San Jose as the Railers needed to make space on their roster.

Mason Klee has put up at least one assist in the last five games for the Worcester Railers making him an excellent fit within the San Jose offense. Mason Klee went to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute for hockey, where his talents really took off. Klee played from the 2019-2020 season until the 2022-2023 season, although the 2020-2021 season was canceled due to the pandemic. In his time at the institute he played a total of 88 games. He notched four goals and 12 assists for 16 points. During his latest season, he really came on as a defender, where he blocked 29 shots and had at least one in 18 games. As well, in that season, he had ten penalties for 39 minutes. Mason Klee has the makeup to improve San Jose on the defensive side of the puck.
