Kane has played in 26 games this season and has 26 points coming on 11 goals and 15 assists. He has a point in every game since returning from injury recording a total of ten points on four goals and six assists. On the power play, he has eight points on two goals and six assists.

Chicago: Petr Mrazek (13-22-3, 2.99 GAA) / Arvid Soderblom (2-17-1, 3.97 GAA)

Mrazek last played on Friday against the Jets, and he suffered the loss in overtime giving up theee goals on 31 shots. In his career against his former team the Red Wings, he is 7-3-1 in 13 games, he suffered the loss in the matchup earlier this season giving up five goals on 29 shots.

Soderblom last played on Wednesday against the Flyers, and he suffered his 11th straight loss giving up three goals on 33 shots; his last win came on November 24th against the Maple Leafs. He has never faced Detroit in his career.

Wrap Up

The Red Wings will look to pick up their fifth straight win tonight over the Blackhawks. Since returning from the All-Star break they are 5-2-0 and have outscored their opponent 26-17. Since 2024 began they are 14-4-2 for 30 points which is different than last season once February hit they started to trend downhill, this season they are playing great hockey and hopefully that continues tonight as they look to return to the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

In their last ten games against Chicago, Detroit is 5-4-1, and have been outscored
36-34 in those ten games. Detroit beat the Blackhawks back on November 30th, 5-1.
