Hershey Bears Call-up Three Forwards From South Carolina

The Hershey Bears, on Friday night, will play a must-win game against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. The Bears dropped games two and three to the Phantoms after winning game one. They are looking to win Friday night to force a game five on home ice as they look to keep their season alive. The Bears are chasing their third straight Calder Cup. They are calling up reinforcements from their ECHL affiliate, the South Carolina Stingrays. The Bears are calling up Ryan Hofer, Justin Nachbaur, and Alex Suzdalev.

Ryan Hofer

Hofer, in five games with Hershey this season, was held pointless. In 52 games with South Carolina, he had 26 points on 12 goals and 14 assists. Hofer had 100 penalty minutes for the Stingrays. In seven playoff games, he had five points on three goals and two assists. Hofer recorded eight points for the Bears last season.

Justin Nachbaur

Nachbaur, in four games with Hershey this season, was held pointless. He played in 48 games with South Carolina, recording 28 points on 12 goals and 16 assists. Nachbaur had 173 penalty minutes with the Stingrays. In six playoff games, he had two assists.

Alex Suzdalev

Suzdalev was held pointless in three games with Hershey this season. In 50 games with the Stingrays, he had 39 points on 15 goals and 24 assists. He played in seven playoff games, recording two goals and two assists.
