Max Domi Signs With Toronto Maple Leafs

The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed forward Max Domi to a one-year contract worth $3 million annually. The Arizona Coyotes 12th overall selection in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft took a couple of years to develop. Max Domi wouldn’t debut until the 2015-16 season. Max Domi scored 18 goals and 34 assists for 52 points in 81 games during his rookie season.

Max Domi’s 2022-23 season was split between the Chicago Blackhawks (60 games) and the Dallas Stars (20 games), where he posted some of his best numbers. Domi posted 18 goals and 31 assists for 49 points with the Blackhawks; he also scored two goals and five assists for seven points with the Stars. Throughout the Dallas Stars 2023 Stanley Cup playoff run, Domi played 19 games and scored three goals and ten assists for 13 points in 19 games. Domi also posted 52 penalty minutes in his playoff appearance with the Dallas Stars.

Throughout Max Domi’s eight-year NHL career, he’s split time between the Arizona Coyotes, Montreal Canadiens, Columbus Blue Jackets, Carolina Hurricanes, Chicago Blackhawks, and Dallas Stars.

Max Domi will carry on the legacy that his father, Tie Domi, left in Toronto. Max Domi can become a fan favorite like his father; Max Domi can also become one of the best free agency signings in recent memory for the Toronto Maple Leafs.
