Vladislav Namestnikov Stats

Vladislav Namestnikov was one of the Winnipeg Jets 2023 NHL Trade Deadline additions, and Namestnikov finds a home for the next two seasons. Namestnikov is a solid depth piece that has played on six teams throughout his ten-year career. In Namestnikov’s 2022-23 season, he split time between the Tampa Bay Lightning (57 games) and the Winnipeg Jets (20 games). Namestnikov scored six goals and nine assists for 15 points with Tampa Bay, he would post two goals and eight assists for ten points with Winnipeg.

Cheveldayoff is locking up his depth pieces and finding value in players who can fit a specific mold, Namestnikov and Brossoit fit that mold.

Laurent Brossoit was the Winnipeg Jets’ backup goaltender from the 2018-19 season to the 2020-21 season. Brossoit would leave the Jets for the Vegas Golden Knights for two seasons, where he split time between the NHL and AHL levels during his 2022-23 season. Brossoit would also be a piece of Vegas’ Stanley Cup Championship team, Brossoit’s return to Winnipeg is welcome with open arms and great news for Jets fans. In Brossoit’s 2022-23 season, he played 11 games for the Golden Knights, where he posted a 2.17 goals against average and a 0.927 save percentage. Brossoit would play 23 games for the Silver Knights, where he posted a 2.72 goals-against average and a 0.909 save percentage.

Both signings are great re-additions to the Winnipeg Jets’ roster and look into the future that doesn’t require a lengthy rebuild for the city of Winnipeg and the passionate fanbase.
