Nashville Predators Are at It Again

The Nashville Predators are coming off a 4-2 win over the Buffalo Sabres last night which bumped them to the top Wild Card spot in the Western Conference, they return to the ice tomorrow against the Columbus Blue Jackets at 12:30 PM EST. Yesterday the Predators were active as they acquired Anthony Beauvillier from the Chicago Blackhawks and then they traded Yakov Trenin and a prospect to the Colorado Avalanche as well as claiming Jaret Anderson-Dolan off waivers from the Los Angeles Kings. The Predators weren’t done as they acquired Jason Zucker from the Arizona Coyotes, it is not known right now what is heading to Arizona to complete the deal.

Jason Zucker By The Numbers

Zucker was drafted by the Minnesota Wild with the 59th overall pick in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. He made his debut on March 29, 2012, and recorded his first point in his second game when he recorded two assists. He scored his first career goal on February 17, 2013, against the Detroit Red Wings. He played for the Minnesota Wild for 8.5 seasons before being traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins where he spent 3.5 seasons and this past offseason he signed with the Coyotes for one year. He has played in 679 games and has 363 points on 191 goals and 172 assists, he has 72 power play points on 33 goals and 39 assists. This season for the Coyotes he has played in 51 games and has recorded 25 points on nine goals and 16 assists, he also has nine power-play points on four goals and five assists.
