Boston Bruins News & Notes:
The Bruins snapped their four-game losing streak yesterday with a 3-2 win over the Penguins in Pittsburgh. Brad Marchand was hit awkwardly into the boards and did not return to the game and is questionable for this afternoon’s contest. Boston has struggled on the road this season with a 10-15-3 record but with just two wins in regulation in their last twelve road games. This is the second and final meeting between these two teams this season, with the Bruins winning the first meeting 3-0 on February 4 in Boston.
Minnesota Wild News & Notes:
The Wild have lost three straight games. Minnesota has been dealing with injuries during this stretch, missing Kaprizov, and recently, Eriksson Ek was injured during practice and will likely miss at least a few weeks. The Wild traded for Gustav Nyquist from the Nashville Predators for a 2026 2nd-round pick. Nyquist should be in the lineup this afternoon against the Bruins. The Wild appear to be solidly in a playoff position, but a long losing streak could put that position in jeopardy. The Wild will try to snap their losing streak this afternoon against the Bruins and get back on track.

Players To Watch:
Boston Bruins
David Pastrnak picked up in March where he left off in February, hot. After the Czech winger put up 12 points (7g, 5a) in seven games in February, Pastrnak started March with a bang with a goal and an assist in the Bruins’ 3-2 victory over the Penguins in Pittsburgh. The 28-year-old winger now has a 17-game point streak, which is the longest streak in the NHL this season. Pastrnak is now up to 4th in the NHL in goals with 32 and is tied for sixth in scoring with 75 points. Pastrnak is on pace for his third straight 100+ point season for the Bruins.
Minnesota Wild
Newcomer Gustav Nyquist was briefly with the Wild during the 2023 season, where he had a goal and four assists in three regular-season games and then tied for the lead in Wild playoff scoring with five assists in the series against Dallas that the Wild lost in six games. The Wild couldn’t afford to keep Nyquist, and he moved on in the offseason. Nyquist had nine goals and 21 points this season for Nashville in 57 games, and in one game vs. the Bruins this year, he has a goal.
