Nazem Kadri has put together an impressive February with three goals and five assists in seven games this month. The 34-year-old Center from London, Ontario, is tied with Jonathan Huberdeau for the team lead in scoring, each with 42 points. Kadri will try to extend his six-game point streak tonight in Washington, D.C.

Washington Capitals

Alex Ovechkin is now only 13 goals away from becoming the NHL’s all-time leading goal scorer. The Great Eight had a hat trick on Sunday night in the Capitals 7-3 victory over the Edmonton Oilers. The 39-year-old is seventh in the NHL with 29 goals in only 41 games. The Moscow, Russia native is on a 42-goal pace, which would have him break the record on the last day of the regular season.
