The Blue Jackets moved into the first wild-card spot with the victory and hold a one-point lead over Ottawa as they travel to Carolina to take on the Hurricanes tonight. This is the fourth and final meeting between these two teams this season, with Columbus taking two of three so far. The home team has won every matchup in the series.
