St. Louis Blues News & Notes:
St. Louis has lost two straight games as they travel to Minnesota to take on the Wild. The Blues are 16-14-4 on the road this season and are 6-9-2 against the Central Division. St. Louis has a 26-6-2 record when they score 3+ goals in a game. The Blues are currently two points out of the second Wild Card spot with three teams in front of them.
Minnesota Wild News & Notes:
The Wild have lost three of their last four contests and are 4-5-1 in their ten games. Minnesota is 12-9-2 against Central Division opponents and will try to add to that win total tonight. The Wild currently sit in the first Wild Card position with a comfortable eight-point cushion over the second Wild Card leading Calgary Flames. This is the fourth and final meeting between these two clubs this season, with Minnesota taking all three previous contests, most recently a 6-4 win on January 7 at the Xcel Energy Center. The Wild will aim for a season series sweep tonight.

Players To Watch:
St. Louis Blues
Robert Thomas has emerged as the leader of the Blues’ offense, the 25-year-old center has 52 points (17g, 35a) in 54 games. Thomas recently had his eleven-game point streak snapped but added an assist in his last game and hopes to start a new streak tonight in Minnesota. The Blues season may have unfolded differently if the Aurora, Ontario native was healthy all season.
Minnesota Wild
Gustav Nyquist got his first point as a member of the Wild with an assist in their last game against the New York Rangers. Nyquist was acquired to add a scoring punch to a lineup that has struggled since losing dynamic all-star winger Kirill Kaprizov. The Wild, like St. Louis, would be looking at a vastly different season if Kaprizov had remained healthy all season. The Wild are expecting Kaprizov to be ready to play before the end of the regular season, but there is no timetable for his return.
