St. Louis Blues News & Notes:

St. Louis has had an up-and-down season and is still battling for a playoff position. The Blues are tied at 73 points with the Vancouver Canucks, who hold the second Wild Card position. Outside of a head-to-head matchup with the Canucks on Thursday, the Blues will play Nashville twice and Chicago on the weekend. They have a perfect opportunity to pick up 6+ points this week.

Nashville Predators News & Notes:

Nashville has lost back-to-back games but is 3-2 in their last five games. The Predators currently hold the third-best odds for the #1 overall pick at the upcoming draft.

The NHL announced today that the Predators would face the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2025 Global Series in Sweden.

Players To Watch:

St. Louis Blues

Jordan Binnington continues to be the pulse of the Blues. When he’s hot, he’s HOT. When he’s not, he’s not. The Blues have given him plenty of offensive support, helping the Blues win any game that he’s given up 3 or less goals in his last 10 starts.

Nashville Predators

Filip Forsberg has been carrying the load for Nashville offensively. Leading the team in goals and assists. Juuse Saros has declined in save percentage and goals against average over the last two seasons. Some of that has to do with the team in front of him, and some of that is on his personal performance. I’d expect Saros to look at improving his save percentage down the stretch, as it’s the worst of his career.
