While there were no major trades at the Trade Deadline, the Predators haven’t had the season they expected. General Manager Barry Trotz hasn’t been shy when addressing the team’s shortcomings.

“When you don’t have anyone with a career year, it’s very difficult,” Trotz said. “You need your best players to be your best players.”
