WHEELING, W. Va. – Saturday evening, the visiting Adirondack Thunder were the opponents for the Wheeling Nailers. Seven goals were scored during a fast paced 1st period, with the Thunder taking a 5-2 lead. The 2nd period saw a goal from each team to make it 6-3, as well as a fight between Nailer’s Cole Tymkin and the Thunder’s Jackson van de Leest. During the 3rd period, both teams would score again, and the gloves dropped between Matthew Quercia and Darian Skeoch. The Thunder were victorious, with a final score of 7-4.
