HARTFORD, Conn – The rivalry of Connecticut was set for Hartford as the Hartford Wolf Pack faced off against the Bridgeport Islanders. The Wolf Pack donned their festive red alternative jerseys and were hoping for a win before the holidays. Prior to the game, the Wolf Pack were in 2nd place in the Atlantic division, and the Islanders were 2nd from the bottom of the division. The Wolf Pack fell to a quick 3-goal deficit in the first period and then to a 4-goal deficit before scoring four goals in the second and third period to tie it up.

The Islanders were able to close the game out with a final goal from Alex Belzile with less than four minutes left in the third period and snapped the Wolf Pack’s six-game winning streak.
