CEDAR PARK, Texas – Sunday night, the visiting Chicago Wolves defeated the Texas Stars 4-1. With the win, the Wolves completed the weekend series sweep of the Stars and added to their fourth win in a row vs Texas.
The three stars of the night were Chicago’s Chris Terry with a natural hat trick, Adam Scheel, who stopped 34 of 35 shots on the night and 56 of 58 on the weekend, and Vasily Ponomarev, who had three assists. The lone Texas Stars goal would come from Logan Stankoven in the third period. The rookie Stankoven remains in second place in AHL points, just behind teammate Mavrik Bourque.
