LAVAL, QC. – The Laval Rocket missed a crucial opportunity to close out their playoff series on Sunday, falling 3–1 to the Cleveland Monsters at Place Bell. Goaltender Cayden Primeau delivered a strong performance between the pipes, turning aside numerous quality chances to keep Laval within reach.

Cleveland opened the scoring in the second period and quickly doubled their lead, capitalizing on defensive breakdowns by the Rocket. Laval responded early in the third with a goal that briefly reignited the crowd, but despite sustained pressure, they were unable to generate the equalizer.

The Rocket still lead the best-of-five series 2–1 and will get another chance to close it out on Tuesday. Laval will look to bounce back with a more complete effort to avoid a do-or-die Game 5 as Cleveland continue to fight to keep their season going.
