CALGARY, AB – The Wranglers kicked off a four-game homestand Tuesday night, when they hosted the Coachella Valley Firebirds for the first of two games. The Coachella Valley Firebirds lead the AHL’s Pacific Division coming into the Saddledome to face the Calgary Wranglers.

The Firebirds scored three times to close the first period with a 3-0 lead. The Wranglers came back in the second to grab a couple goals while only allowing one more. It was 4-2 after two periods. Coachella came out on Fire again in the 3rd and added 3 more goals in the first half of the period. Calgary scored one more late in the third to make it a 7-3 Final. Shane Wright and William Stromgren each had a goal and an assist for their respective teams.
