HENDERSON, Nev – The Henderson Silver Knights lost to the Coachella Valley Firebirds, 3-2, Saturday night. Coachella Valley reaches the 40th win mark, while Henderson falls to 26-32-2-5.

The Firebirds would strike first off the stick of Andrew Poturalski, one timing a feed from Kole Lind. Ryan Dzingel responded a few minutes later for the Silver Knights, tying the game at 1. Lind would later find the back of the net himself for his second point of the night.

Coachella Valley capped off a rather quiet second period with a snipe from Ville Ottavainen within the last minute.

Sheldon Rempal brought Henderson within a goal, but the Silver Knights were unable to convert with the net empty, sealing the victory for the Firebirds.

Coachella Valley continues to lead the Pacific Division, as they look to make another deep run in the Calder Cup Playoffs.
