JACKSONVILLE, Fla – Wednesday night was Game 7 of the South Division Semifinals between the Jacksonville Icemen and Florida Everblades. Florida prevailed with a 4-0 victory to win the series after a come back from a 3-1 series deficit. The win eliminated Jacksonville from the playoffs for the third year in a row and moves Florida on to the South Division Finals against the Orlando Solar Bears.

For the second night in a row, the Everblades came alive in the second period, scoring four unanswered goals. The first three goals came within a four-minute span from Will Reilly, Sean Josling, and Cam Darcy. A shorthanded goal came from Cole Moberg with just over a minute left of the period. In the seven game series Florida scored 13 of its 16 goals in the second period. The third period was scoreless, with Cam Johnson earning himself his first shutout for the Everblades during the 2024 playoffs.
