ROCKFORD, Ill. – Friday night at the BMO Center, the Rockford IceHogs faced off against the Hartford Wolf Pack. The IceHogs outshot the Wolfpack 17-2 during the first period, with Kevin Korchinski opening the scoring for the IceHogs to take a 1-0 lead. After a scoreless second period, the IceHogs scored three times during the third, with two goals by Andreas Athanasiou and one goal by Joey Anderson. Drew Commesso stopped all 26 shots on goal for the 4-0 victory, for his forth-straight win and his second shutout in eight days.
