BRIDGEPORT, Conn – The Bridgeport Islanders welcomed the Lehigh Valley Phantoms to the Total Mortgage Arena for their final game against each other this season. They played each other the night prior in Allentown, Pa. for an overtime loss for Bridgeport, and the Islanders fell short again with a 0-3 loss. The Islanders are last in the Atlantic Division with no hope of making the playoffs with only one game remaining in the season whereas the Lehigh Valley Phantoms are two positions above Bridgeport and clinched the last spot in the playoffs. Bridgeport’s final game is the next day, Saturday April 20th, while the Phantoms playoffs start Wednesday April 24th against the Wilkes-Barre / Scranton Penguins.
