WORCESTER, Mass. – Saturday evening, the visiting Norfolk Admirals played as the saying goes, “May the force be with you”. The Admirals skated and defended their way to a 6-2 win over the Worcester Railers, before an announced sellout crowd, and all the Star Wars characters for Star Wars night.

Present for the evening, was former Woo Sox favorite Ryan Fitzgerald, who is on his way to Kansas City to play for the Royals organization next season. Ryan would announce the Railers staring lineup to the players in the locker room for coach Jordan Smotherman, headline the ceremonial puck drop, meet and greet the fans, and sign autographs.

The Admirals would score two goals in each of the three periods. Worcester forward Blade Jenkins scored both Worcester goals, one coming in each of the first two periods. The Admirals goal scorers were, Kamerin Nault and Stepan Timofeyev in the first period, Aaron Miller and Carson Musser in the second, Danny Katic and Andrew McLean in the third period.
