WORCESTER, Mass.- The Norfolk Admirals rolled into the city of Worcester Mass. on Friday night, the fourth matchup of the season against the Railers.

The Admirals and Railers would skate the majority of the first period evenly matched, with both goalies Yaniv Perets and Henrik Tikkanen turning away good scoring chances by both teams. At 16:31 of the first period, Admirals forward Keaton Jameson would break free down the right side, scoring high glove side on Railers goalie Henrik Tikkanen, giving the visitors a 1-0 lead, the only goal of the first period. Shots were 12-11 in favor of the Railers.

Worcester’s leading scorer, Ashton Calder would net the only goal in the second period by either team, a power play goal coming at 8:49 of the frame, the score tied at 1-1 entering the third. The Admirals would take control of the game starting at 4:24 of the third period when forward Mark Liwiski would score the go ahead goal on quick deke move around Railers goalie Henrik Tikkanen. Minutes later, the Admirals would push the lead to 3-1 on a goal by Keegan Iverson, coming at 8:35. Mathieu Roy would add an empty net goal, sealing the win for Norfolk with nine seconds left to play, final score 4-1. The three stars of the game were : 1st-Yaniv Perets-Norfolk, 2nd-Keaton Jameson-Norfolk, 3rd- Ashton Calder-Worcester.
