ST. PAUL, Minn. – Down 2-0 in the series, PWHL Minnesota welcomed PWHL Toronto to the Xcel Energy Center for games three and four of the playoff series. Minnesota was facing a playoff goal drought and was on a seven-game losing streak.

Throughout the two games, PWHL Minnesota outlasted PWHL Toronto, shutting them out and forcing a game five. Maddie Rooney stopped all shots she faced in both games, including the second game going into double overtime with an ending score of 1-0 and the first game-ending 2-0. The series moved back to Toronto for game five, with PWHL Minnesota winning the game 4-1 to move into the finals and will now face PWHL Boston.
