ESTERO, Fla. – Wednesday night’s game was the first of a five-game series between the Florida Everblades and the Savannah Ghost Pirates.
Both teams were on consecutive point streaks in 2024 and fighting for the final playoff spot in the South Division. The Everblade’s only goal came from Logan Lambdin, as the Ghost Pirates scored early and often, winning the game 4-1. Everblades Cam Johnson took the loss in net. Ghost Pirates goalie Vesper Vikman made his ECHL debut, having played seven games in the AHL earlier this season.
The two teams meet again Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Hertz Arena.
