GLENS FALLS, N.Y. – On Friday evening, the visiting Wheeling Nailers took on the Adirondack Thunder at Cool Insuring Arena. The gloves dropped early in the 1st period, with Nailers Cole Tymkin and Thunders Kishaun Gervais getting into a fight. The rest of the game was a goaltending showdown, with both Taylor Gauthier of the Nailers and Jeremy Brodeur of the Thunder blocking every shot that came their way. The game went into overtime and the Thunder scored to take a 1-0 win.
