PWHL Ottawa Re-Sign Star Forward Kateřina Mrázová

PWHL Ottawa has announced the re-signing of their star forward, Kateřina Mrázová, to a two-year contract extension. This move is set to solidify the team’s offensive lineup as they bring back one of their best players.

Kateřina Mrázová was a crucial part of Ottawa’s offensive strategy last season. Known for her speed, agility, and scoring ability, Mrázová’s extension ensures that Ottawa retains a key player who can influence the outcome of many games. Mrázová brings not just skill but also leadership to the team. Her experience on international stages, including playing for the Czech national team, adds a valuable perspective in high-pressure situations. This leadership is vital for developing younger players like 2nd overall pick Danielle Serdachny.

Mrázová will be joining an impressive roster of 17 other players already signed with PWHL Ottawa for the upcoming season. This talented group includes forwards Emily Clark, Shiann Darkangelo, Gabbie Hughes, Brianne Jenner, Rebecca Leslie, Anna Meixner, Hayley Scamurra, Natalie Snodgrass, Tereza Vanišová, and Alexa Vasko. The defensive lineup features Ashton Bell, Zoe Boyd, Savannah Harmon, Jincy Roese, and Aneta Tejralová. In goal so far, Logan Angers and Emerance Maschmeyer.
With this strong roster, Ottawa fans have every reason to be optimistic about the upcoming season. The blend of experienced veterans and promising young talent creates a dynamic environment, setting the stage for an exciting journey towards the Walter Cup.
