Report: Carolina Hurricanes sign Left Winger Michael Bunting

The Carolina Hurricanes are reportedly finalizing a deal to sign left winger Michael Bunting from the Toronto Maple Leafs to a three-year contract.

Michael Bunting is entering his fifth season in the NHL; he started his career with the Arizona Coyotes before becoming a Maple Leaf. In his first four seasons, he has played in 187 games recording 126 points on 57 goals and 69 assists; he also has registered 197 penalty minutes. Last season for the Maple Leafs, Bunting played in all 82 games tallying 49 points on 23 goals and 26 assists, and he also had 103 penalty minutes. He will be a nice big body for the Carolina Hurricanes.
