Seth Jones Linked to Two Teams

Seth Jones Linked to Two Teams

The Chicago Blackhawks are currently 22 points back for the final wild-card spot in the Western Conference. They are looking to explore trades with the trade deadline just 11 days away. One name out there to watch is defenseman Seth Jones. Elliotte Friedman on today’s 32 Thoughts mentioned Chicago is getting calls from the Dallas Stars and Florida Panthers. The one hurdle that will be tough to make work is the money. The Stars being linked isn’t all that surprising after they lost Miro Heiskanen to a knee injury. If the Panthers are able to make things work and acquire Jones that would give the defending Stanley Cup Champions a boost on the blue line. Reports the other day said Jones wants to go to a contending team and both of those teams are certainly Stanley Cup contenders.
